  • What can we do for the planet? We at Roca have been asking ourselves this question for more than 50 years now and, in all that time, have never ceased searching for solutions that help conserve and improve our surroundings.
  • Developing cisterns that work with less water, designing products that use water more efficiently, changing manufacturing processes to reuse resources and creating a foundation that seeks better water usage: these are just some of the actions that reflect our commitment to the planet.
  • At Roca, we believe that any effort made for the planet’s sake is but a start. We therefore aim to be at the forefront of defending the environment and caring for water, seeking to show that it is both worthwhile and possible for everyone to conserve the planet.

  • ROCA PRODUCTS

  • We at Roca have spent more than 50 years developing efficient products that save water. Our sustainable vision has also allowed us to create surprising and innovative products that have broken the mould, proving that you can always be more efficient and make better use of resources.
    • Faucets
    • Roca incorporates into all its faucets the exclusive ceramic cartridge with SofTurn® technology, achieving the highest levels of precision in setting the required flow and temperature, with the consequent saving of water and energy.
    • CLICK 50% Water & Energy Saving is an exclusive technology developed by Roca to save water and energy in its faucets. The exclusive CLICK safety system helps to limit the flow of water directly: the user has to press the lever upwards if a greater flow is required.
    • Cisterns
    • All Roca cisterns have an interruption mechanism and a dual flush system of 3/6 litres compared with the 12 litres of conventional cisterns. In addition, it has recently developed models of 3/4.5 litres, like the new MERIDIAN collection, available on the market since 2009.
    • Washbasin/Toilets
    • In 2009 Roca launched W+W (washbasin + watercloset), an innovative product that combines two items that are essential in any bathroom space: basin and toilet.
    • This fusion of the two elements into a single piece makes it possible to apply Roca’s new, sustainable “Reuse of Water” technology, a way of saving water by reducing consumption by 50% and so helping to protect the environment.
    • W+W reuses the water used in the basin to fill the toilet cistern, and has an automatic cleaning system that eliminates bacteria and unpleasant odours from the water, guaranteeing excellent quality.

  • Innovating in sustainable products has resulted in the saving of thousands of millions of litres of water across the world. These results spur us on to continue seeking new ways to save water and thus help the environment.

  • SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION PROCESSES

  • To integrate our global and environmental vision into our production processes, we at Roca have developed the Eco-Roca project.
  • The Eco-Roca project has two fundamental goals: to reduce, by the year 2014, the firm’s CO2 emissions by 25% from those of 2006, and to achieve an industrial process entirely free of waste materials, through the Zero-Waste programme.

  • THE WE ARE WATER FOUNDATION

  • At Roca, our commitment to the planet goes beyond our production processes or our products. Not only do we seek solutions to save water, but we also look and work to help ensure that everyone has access to it.
  • This is why we have created the We are Water Foundation, to debate and raise the awareness of the public and authorities alike of the need to create a new culture of water that permits fair development and sustainable management of the world’s water resources.
  • To sum up, with the creation of the We Are Water Foundation we want to reinforce our commitment to sustainability and position ourselves as a company of reference in this sphere.
